Hi, my name is Arnoud Jansveld. Like most system admins, I use scripting a lot. Until a couple of years ago, “for /f” was my friend. Then I started playing around with PowerShell and saw the light. Thanks to a wealth of information on blogs, newsgroups and forums I was able to put it to good use. I started this blog to (hopefully) contribute something useful to this community.

For my scripts and examples, I will focus on the production version of PowerShell (currently 1.0), without any add-ons. This is mostly out of necessity as I usually deal with large locked-down enterprise environments where third-party or beta/CTP software is not an option.
